Business Borrowing 101 is a free, online course that busts the myths and breaks down the business loan process in practical, straightforward terms. Participants finish class with the ability to approach business financing with clarity and confidence. Join Equity1821’s experts and fellow small business owners every Thursday evening for one hour as we:
- Walk through the steps underwriters take to analyze both personal and business credit.
- Review financial documents, like balance sheets and profit & loss statements, and assess cash flow to determine a business’s ability to repay a loan.
- Discuss common reasons applications are approved or denied, what lenders are really looking for beyond revenue, and how to identify and strengthen key areas before applying for a loan.
- Learn how to properly prepare a loan package, including what documentation is needed, how to present your business story effectively, and how to position yourself as a strong candidate for funding.
